WE ARE SO READY!

CAMPERS AGES 3-11 will immerse themselves in the shaded and

magical world of the Wasatch Nature School Campground

with Provo River Trail access!

Our campground is located about 1 mile west of the CLAS Ropes Course on the north side of the street right before entering the Utah Lake State Park!

This year we are offering:

-6 weeks of camps for ages 3-6 (Monday - Thursday AM)

-4 weeks of camps for ages 7-11 (Monday - Thursday PM)

-4 Adventure Fridays for ages 7-11 (Fridays only)

Our "Junior" campers (3-6) will be presented with daily play scenarios, games, stories, and activities that will inspire imagination, problem-solving, communication, creativity, and pure delight!

Our "Advanced" campers (7-11) will be presented with collaborative challenges, games, survival skills, problem-solving, creativity, and confidence-building activities.

Adventure Day Fridays are for children ages 7-11 and take place at the

CLAS Ropes Course from 9:30 -12:30. Children will get to take part in the many fun adventures at the Ropes Course that may include: canoeing, a ride on the giant swing, a zip down the exhilarating zipline, low ropes course, and team building grass games!

We can’t wait to play outside with your campers this summer!

Space is limited to 56 students per week (junior campers) and 52 per week (advanced campers). You may enroll your children in as many weeks as you would like!

PRICING:

Junior Camp (ages 3-6): $180/week (M-TH)

Advanced Camp (ages 7-11): $180/week (M-TH)

Adventure Day Friday (ages 7-11): $45

*There is $5 Registration fee per camp

Camp "JUNIOR SURVIVOR"

& "ULTIMATE SURVIVOR"

You are never too young to start learning the skills to survive and we do it all through PLAY! Our little campers will build shelters (on a stuffed animal scale), follow maps to hidden treasures, track footprints, cook up delicious dishes in our camp mud kitchen, participate in arts, and crafts, and group games, explore the Provo River Trail, be inspired by children's literature, participate in music and movement and so much more.

Ages 7-11:

Campers will immerse themselves in the core elements of wood, fire, earth, and water as they create delightful bushcrafts and sharpen their survival skills with beginner knife work, fire-building, setting up shelters and so much more. They will gain skills in whittling and creating whimsical woodland animals. Participants will strengthen their confidence, creativity, and resilience in the outdoors!

June 16th-19th

Ages 3-6 9:30am - 12:30 pm

Camp "Jurassic World"

Stomp on over to Camp Jurassic World and step into prehistoric times! This week campers will dig for fossils, build a dinosaur playground, follow clues to uncover dinosaur eggs, design their own dinosaurs, and have a dinosaur picnic!

Come learn how paleontologists uncover the past and find out what it was like to live in the age of dinosaurs.

Campers will also explore the forest, view the beautiful wildlife on the Provo River Trail, and participate in daily activities that will include storytelling, mindfulness, and singing.

June 23rd - 26th

Camp "Neverland" &

Camp "TREASURE EXPEDITION"

Ahoy Campers! Welcome to the magical world of Neverland! Campers will embark on a pirate treasure hunt on the Jolley Roger and work together in an island obstacle course to rescue the mermaids in Mermaid Lagoon. Camper will also make maps, seashell necklaces, sand art, and their very own Pirate Flag! Who's ready to make a splash at Camp Neverland?

Ages 7-11:

Participants will learn how to use a compass to discover geocaches as well as practice survival skills, including bush-crafting and working over a fire. Our explorers will enter the wide world of mapmaking, learn about famous lost treasures, practice constellation identification & star navigation, & create their own geocache treasures to hide for other treasure hunters to discover! On the final day, our treasure hunters will work together on an epic adventure to discover the "Lost Florentine Diamond!" Your camper won't want to miss this epic adventure!

Adventure DAys

Are you ready for an adventure? Time to get out of your comfort zone and test your courage and team-building skills!

Adventure Day is intended for ages 7-11 and will include challenges that are facilitated by a CLAS ROPES COURSE CERTIFIED GUIDE and chaperoned by a WNS Staff Member.

Time permitting, activities will include:

-team-building games and challenges

-zip lining

-a ride on the giant swing

-canoeing (time permitting) with a certified guide

-and a climb up the rock wall

July 7th-10th

Camp "ENCHANTED FOREST"

This week at camp your child will be transported to an Enchanted Forest at Wasatch Nature School! Campers will embark on a special quest all week long to protect the magical creatures of the forest! Here your child will team up with dancing fairies, creative gnomes, swift unicorns, and witty elves to make magic potions, colorful wands, bubbling brews, and sticky slime to defeat the tricky forest goblins! Campers will become the Kings and Queens of the forest and protectors of the land and the magical creatures who live there! Your child will be engrossed in imaginative activities and end the week with an enchanted forest tea party! This week's camp will light up your child's imagination and spark their storytelling creativity as they befriend magical creatures and help the enchanted forest! Campers will explore the forest, view the wildlife near the Provo River Trail, and engage in fantasy-inspired arts and crafts such as gnome homes, fairy doors, and mystical medallions. Don't miss out on this magical week!

July 14th-17th

Camp "Dragon QUEST"

Welcome to the magical realm of fire-breathing fun! Campers will embark on daily adventures filled with fierce and daring quests through 5 Dragon Kingdoms! The Realm is in trouble and the only way to restore peace is to rescue the baby dragonets in each Kingdom who have been stolen by Scarlet, the Queen Dragon. The eggs are hiding safely inside their armored eggs and must be rescued each day of camp in order to save the realm! This camp will ignite the imagination of every young adventurer. Our campers will engage in the dragon elements of mud, sand, ice, and sea, participate in puzzling scavenger hunts, engage in medieval-themed arts and crafts, play group games, be inspired by enchanting dragon-themed children's literature, participate in music and movement, and so much more. Are you ready to accept this Dragon Quest and save the dragonets?

Camp "MUDDY BUDDIES"

CALLING ALL MUD LOVERS! Bring your BUDS and let's play in the MUD at Camp "MUDDY BUDDIES" where our campers will participate in the satisfactory sensory experience of messy, ooey gooey, amazing muddy fun! (We recommend bringing a few towels in the car each day for transporting your camper home)! Camp will include Mud Art Projects, Mud Building Projects, Muddy Trail Walk Exploration, Mud Kitchen Creations, and end the week with a SPECTACULAR MUD RUN OBSTACLE COURSE and a REPTILE ENCOUNTER! New "mud buds" will definitely be formed and these memories won't be made anywhere else!

We can't wait to end the summer with the best camp of all! You won't want to miss Camp "MUDDY BUDDIES!"
